Digital inclusivity and creating a space for girls to use their creativity to create opportunities for themselves and for their communities is one of the key focus area of Pwaniteknowgalz .in its mission to bridge the gender Gap of women in the STEM field. Technovation challenges girls all over the world to build a mobile app that will address a community problem. Since 2010, 5,000 girls from 28 countries have submitted to Technovation, thanks to dedicated volunteers around the world. This year Pwani Teknowgalz team volunteered to Coach and mentor girls from Sheikh Khalifa and Aga Khan.The girls came up with brilliant ideas to solve community problems.The girls, Coaches and mentors worked very hard to able to complete their mobile applications and Technovation deliverables. Every Year Technovation challenges girls all over the world to build a mobile app that will address a community problem. Since 2010, over 3,000 girls from 28 countries have submitted to Technovation, thanks to dedicated volunteers around the world.Girls do not need to have programming experience to participate, and Technovation is free for any girl who wants to participate.
