An initiative powered by eSkills4Girls
Pwaniteknowgalz organized the first Africa Code week workshop for girls in Mombasa and trained 175 girls from different high schools both public and private and university in Mombasa participating in the workshop. The workshop was powered by #eSkills4Girls An initiative which aims at tackling the existing gender digital divide in particular in low income and developing countries.The workshop equipped girls with basic web coding languages such as Html and css .The workshop took place on 30th and 31st September 2017 at Swahilipot Hub
In 2018 we trained 250 girls in from eight high schools during Africa code week on introduction to website development and scratch
