Meet Mercy Wafula from Eldoret in the Rift valley regions of Kenya.she was one of the attendees of the Django Girls Mombasa Workshop that took plavce on 11th February 2017 at Swahilipot Hub .Mercy is a web developer and loves programming.she heard about Pwani Teknowgalz and was inspired by the mentorship and training programs that Pwani Teknowgalz engages the girls in and its goal in bridging the gender gap of women in Technology .She took the initiative and created a Pwani Teknowgalz branch in Eldoret : Rift Teknowgalz .She started training ladies at the university on web development.Her dream is to empower women to venture in Technology fields and increase the number of women venturing into STEM fields.As Pwani Teknowgalz we will support this great initiative and we are glad to have her as part of Pwani Teknowgalz growing Community .
