Call for application for STEM Cafe Kenya is closed
STEM cafe Kenya is a program sponsored by the American Spaces Kenya to increase the interest of young women in STEM by imparting them hands-on skills on different facets of STEM and digital skills which include; website development skills, SDG, and Data Collection Techniques(GIS). The program aims at equipping 135 young women in Mombasa, Nakuru, Nairobi Kisumu, and Lamu with employable practical STEM skills and knowledge that they can use to venture into STEM careers where women are under-represented. The program also aims at bringing professional women in STEM to American space to share their experience and provide a networking platform for the ladies to interact and have female mentors guide towards their STEM journey. This is to increase the number of women in STEM careers. The program is implemented by Pwani Teknowgalz in partnership with TechWomen Kenya 2014 Alumnae.
