Teachers Training

In preparation for Africa Code Week, teachers are always involved in a training on Google CS first and scratch to prepare the involve their students in their various schools to learn how to code using scratch. Pwani Teknowgalz  in  2018 in partnership with Swahilipot Hub and Ukpere consulting trained 151 teachers from central, Western and Coastal region in Kenya learn how to code using Scratch a tool that is used to introduce kids and youth to coding during October yearly. During Africa Code week in October 2018 the trained teachers trained approximately 1000 students in their respective school. This year 2019 we aim to train 900 teachers in Western e.g Busia, Kisumu, Vihiga and Kakamega and Coastal region that is Kwale, Malindi, Mombasa and Kilifi.
