Pwani Teknowgalz is a women-led, community-rooted nonprofit in Mombasa. We equip girls and young women from underserved communities with market-relevant technology and digital skills and connect them to pathways into employment, entrepreneurship, online work and leadership.

Your expertise can help us strengthen our systems, demonstrate our impact and communicate the journeys of the young women we serve.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation professional to help us strengthen how we collect and use data, measure longer-term outcomes and use evidence for learning and decision-making.

Key areas of support

  • Review and strengthen our M&E framework, processes and tools.
  • Strengthen our Theory of Change and results framework.
  • Develop practical indicators and data-collection tools.
  • Improve data quality, storage, analysis and visualization.
  • Support the tracking of employment, income, entrepreneurship, career progression and alumni leadership.
  • Develop simple dashboards and reporting templates.
  • Train or mentor staff in practical M&E approaches.

What we are looking for

  • At least five years of relevant experience in M&E, research, learning, data analysis or a related field.
  • Experience developing M&E frameworks, indicators and data-collection tools.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical systems.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and mentoring skills.
  • Commitment to gender equality, digital inclusion and opportunities for young women.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Communications professional to help us strengthen our strategy, messaging and content and communicate the journey from digital learning to employment, income and leadership.

Key areas of support

  • Review and strengthen our communications strategy.
  • Clarify organizational messages and brand voice.
  • Improve website, newsletter and social media content.
  • Develop impact stories, case studies and alumnae profiles.
  • Support campaign planning, digital analytics and media engagement.
  • Develop practical communications templates and guidelines.
  • Train or mentor staff in communications and storytelling.

What we are looking for

  • At least five years of relevant experience in communications, public relations, journalism, content or a related field.
  • Experience developing communications strategies or campaigns.
  • Strong writing, editing and impact-storytelling skills.
  • Understanding of digital and social media communications.
  • Commitment to gender equality, digital inclusion and opportunities for young women.
