19 year old, Wamuyu Gitonga created her first app Elimuhub to help with virtual learning. She will soon join Africa Leadership University to study Computer Science Elimuhub gives students access to video lessons on subjects such history, geography, and sciences. Students can ask questions and get answers from teachers and other students. In the future, there will be a feature that allows students from different parts of Kenya to interact and exchange ideas.
Her interest in technology came after she joined a project by Pwani Teknowgalz “Codehack Training for Young girls in Kenya Covid-19 edition”
