Mombasa Region

From the 24th to 26th April, thirty eight young women were trained at the American Spaces in Mewa library Mombasa on website development, mobile data collection, digital marketing, SDG and human centered design. The participants had an opportunity to learn from TechWomen and Pwani Teknowgalz about their journey in STEM fields through a panel session. Participants also had a chance to ask questions and learn more about various STEM fields. The young women were also informed about the different opportunities available in STEM and were encouraged them to pursue STEM related fields. On the final day of training the participants were issued certificates.
